“Guardian Earth” outdoor geo-science popularization activity was launched in the geopark

Co-organized by the Xi’an Education TV and Shaanxi Suotu Education & Technology Corp. Ltd, the “Guardian Earth” was launched to encourage children to explore the geopark in the Qinling Zhongnanshan Global Geopark during the National Day Holiday.

The “Guardian Earth” is a parents-child outdoor geo-science popularization programme. Children learn more knowledge of earth sciences and to improve parent-child relationship by the outdoor activities, such as “surviving experience camping”, “geo-science learning group”, “family running race” and so on. By playing interactive games and activities, children can learn about the major types, characteristics, formation of various kinds of landforms in the geopark and increase their awareness of the importance of geo-conservation, and to achieve all-round development.
