Qinling Fantasy Light Show Was Opened at Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark

To mitigate the effect of covid-19 outbreak on local economy and to boost the development of geopark night-time travel and night-time economy, Qinling Fantasy Light Show was grandly opened at Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark on July 29. The event was hosted by Chang’an District Administration of Culture, Toursim and Sports, Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark Management Office, Shaanxi Juzhong Culture Communication Company and Suzhou Zizaiyou Media Company, and guided by Xi’an Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism and Xi’an Tourism Group. At the grand opening, participating leaders gave gift packages to visitor representatives. Visitors can enjoy the scenery of Cuihuashan scenic spot at night with a ticket of RMB 39.9.

Covering an area of about 2 square kilometers, the light show connected key attractions including Yingbinsong, Tianchi, Yu’an mountains and footpath of Tianchi with flowing and colorful lights. A series of events were held, including Qinling Fantasy Light Show, Light Show and Electronic Music Festival, and One City & One Mountain etc. The Qinling Fantasy Light Show took the mountains and rivers as its stage and applied lights as its form to demonstrate the key culture. Covering ten themes including spatio-temporal tunnel, cartoon show and fireflies in forest etc, the light show met needs of visitors at different ages. Young couples could find romantic activity here, and kids could find lovely animal themed activity here. The light show gave visitors strong visual and auditory shock.

Many other attractive events will be rolled out, including “Root of China ž Sound of Qinling” Concert on Cloud, Starry Sky Camping Festival and Survival Camp in Qinling Zhongnanshan etc, to explore new night-time travel items, to meet visitors’ new needs and to provide new travel experience. A multi-functional travel product integrating sightseeing, relaxation, health maintenance and study will be created to bring the beauty of Qinling to visitors.
