Recently, a delegation of seven members led by Dr. He Ailan from the School of Life Sciences of Hunan Normal University went to Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark to investigate the species resources of spiders. The investigation team found that there were more than 20 families of spider groups in the area through preliminary identification during the investigation. Among them, there were many groups with small quantities and unique habitats, such as ctenophoridae, arachnidae and mimetic arachnidae. This fully reflects that there are rich spider species resources and good ecological environment in the Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark in the middle of the Qinling Mountains, which further indicates that the region is a huge treasure pool of species resources, and there is a greater potential value of scientific research to be further explored.
