DaliCangshan UNESCO Global Geopark which joins in GGN in 2014 has unique geoheritage such as metamorphic rock, glacial landform and basin-coupling landform, besides, folk custom and long-term historical civilization are its character. The Bai, Han and other 23 nationalities live there. More than 300 nonmaterial cultural heritages are in Nanzhao kingdom (Tang Dynasty) and Dali kingdom (Song Dynasty), so it is called Culture Kingdom and Ancient Capital of Asian Culture.
