Environment monitoring
Monitoring system and management and control system have been established to monitor and forecast disaster in the geopark. Geological environmental monitor station is used in monitoring mountain, weather, environmental protection, hill fire, wildlife and so on in Huaqing Palace Scenic Area. Qinling ecological environmental protection and deep forest command center have been established. The signal of 9 management and control stations can connect together. Light- current system of 100 monitoring centers has been established too.

Ecological restoration
Completed afforestation 4.64 km2, restoration 8.34 km2, and forest coverage rate has been improved 0.8% from 2011. More than 4,000 Chinese yews, 2,000 bamboos, 1,000 m2 sod, almost 1,000 picea asperata and amygdalus persica have been planted. More than 20 km2 pest control has been conducted, which has been done regularly.

Wildlife protection
The patrol monitoring team applies infrared camera in monitoring panda and other wildlife regularly. Protect the biodiversity in a more scientific way by monitoring data change of the living environment of wildlife.
