The 2014 Annual Conference of GGN Chinese Members was held in Shennongjia Global Geopark on May 15-16, 2014. During the conference, major achievements made in 2013, such as the activities of “10th Anniversary of GGN” were reported. Participants also discussed examples to popularize Earth Sciences and other challenges geoparks are facing such as management and conservation.
Around 169 participants attended the conference, including representatives from all the 29 global geoparks in China and 6 national geoparks.
All participants also attended “GGN Tree Planting” during the conference.
