Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark feature films—Cuihuashan Ice Cave is broadcasted on “Geography·China” of CCTV in 13rd and 14th, February


As the most growth area of landfall, Cuihuashan scenic area is called as “Chinese Landslide Landscape” and “Landfall Museum” because of its all-kinds landform, typical structure, huge scale and complete preservation.


The group of “Geography·China” of CCTV did investigation to discover form, discovery, protection and status quo of ice cave out-of-season to present geological landscape that water becomes ice in summer immediately from geology angles in the geopark in July. Many spots have been shot such as Tianchi pond, Ganqiu pond, Yifangyuan area, Barrier-lakes, stone-sea and caves to spread special geology and landform in order to know the geopark’s natural and human geography landscape by the public.

Geologist Duan Hanmin and Guo Liyu, Shaanxi BSR, Xi’an Outdoor Sports Association played important roles in the activity.
