Many younger reports who were from Renmin University of China and China Children’s Press & Publication Juvenile News College Xi’an Branch Institute did research in travel activity whose theme was Learn from Nature & Protect Ecology in Qinling International Juvenile Geoscience Campsite in 24th, April. Younger reporters recognized that the earth was mother, family and cradle of human, and everyone should protect her from activities such as planting, making house for birds, popular science knowledge of flora and fauna, geology, experiencing ropeway and rock climbing etc. Besides, teachers from Xi’an Branch Institute gave professional guidance.
Based on this activity, Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark built long-term strategic cooperative relationship with Renmin University of China and China Children’s Press & Publication Juvenile News College Xi’an Branch Institute, and the geopark was set up as Little Reporter Station of China and Medium Accomplishment Base for Chinese Little Reporter to enrich research in travel activity.
Qinling International Juvenile Geoscience Campsite is located in Zhuque Scenic Area, which is the first International Juvenile Campsite with popular science education, research in travel, entertainment, parent-child activity and forest exploration. So far, the campsite has accepted more than 30,000 students from 55 primary and secondary schools for research in travel and summer vacation activity from June, 2015 when it was built.
