School of Geography and Tourism of Shaanxi Normal University investigated in Cuihuashan scenic area of the geopark recently. The theme of investigation is to cognitive landfall landscape deeply; know type of Xi’an climate and vegetation and the forming course of Barrier Lake.
Students are attracted by mineral sample and rock such as plaster and calcite, and they pay more attention to the reason of Qinling orgenic movement and Cuihuashan unique landslide landscape in the museum. Then, they enter Wind Cave and Ice Cave which are formed by earthquake. Many rocks sustain, crimp and fill each othert form a long and narrow crack in earthquake age and the moving air become strong wind as the effect of narrow.
Teachers gave introduction to students about what they looked at when they climbed. Teacher Wang Ning introduced vegetation, relationship between vegetation and soil in the course of evolvement process, rock weathering and so on. Teacher Liu June explained the forming course of Brrier Lake from river valley shaping process. Teacher Yue Dapeng popularized the process of landfall landscape from collapse body, barrier body and relicts, and humanistic geography knowledge such as population migration trend, the direction and limited reason of mountain tourism development.
