18th Climbing Competition has been hold in Cuihuashan Scenic Area of Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark, April 13th, which is hold by local government and media such as Xi’an Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Sports Bureau of Xi’an, Xi’an Qujiang New Area Management Commission, Xi’an Tourism Group, Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark Management Office and Huashang Newspaper.
As the theme of competition is National Fitness, new special line has been developed which is compromising the geological tourism and sports to have people can enjoy beautiful landscape and do competition. The competitors run along Yifangyuan Leisure Resort, Tianchi Pool Landslide Education in Public Entertainment Area and Tianchi Pool road.
More than 10,000 persons from 70 years old to child attended the competition, which has been divided into professional team and general team. The competitors are not only from xi’an, but also Liaoning, Sichuan, Henan, Gansu and so on, and many companies attended competition too.
The Climbing Competition has been chosen activity of spring in China & Enjoy Xi’an—2019 Xi’an Spring Culture Tourism Festival. The competition has been hold successfully 17 times from bidding for the Olympic Games, and it is welcomed by people. Nowadays, it’s a spring activity for national people.
