In order to further enhance the leadership and management level of the geopark management cadres, continue to expand the business development, improve the soft power of market competition, Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark Tourism Development co., LTD., together with Xi’an Fanyi University, held a three-month management cadre training class. On the afternoon of July 5th, the opening ceremony of the training class was held in the lecture hall of Xi’an Fanyi University. More than 60 people attended the training. The opening ceremony was presided over by Liu Yuanzheng, vice president of the School of Continuing Education of Xi’an Fanyi University.
Mr. Guo Wei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and Vice President of Xi’an Fanyi University, delivered a welcome speech to the participants and introduced the faculty strength and academic honor of Xi’an Fanyi University. Professor Dong Xiaoying, the leader of the teachers’ group for the training, introduced the training pattern of “point, line and surface” to all the students around the six parts of the training. Zhang Tiejun, the representative of the participants, made a statement, saying that students would grasp the opportunity, study hard, clarify goals, improve ability, change thinking and innovate management.
Jiang Jianjun, secretary of the Party General of the company and chairman of the board, explained the significance of holding the management cadre training class to all the participants, and put forward three hopes: First, I hope that teachers from Xi’an Fanyi University can go deep into the field survey of Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark, give precise lectures on the problems existing in the geopark, and strictly demand on all students, so that they can learn something, apply what they have learned, and really achieve results in learning. Second, I hope that all the management cadres participating in the study should cherish the opportunity to be in school again and concentrate on learning, study hard, think deeply, realize the breakthroughs of one’s knowledge and skills, and really keep up with the needs of the development of the geopark. Third, it is hoped that management cadres should combine theoretical study with practical work, constantly strengthen the integration of geopark with culture and tourism, and build the brand of geopark with achievements, character, image and culture.
Finally, Professor Li Jing, Associate Professor of Public Administration School of Northwest University, Master Tutor, and Doctor of Management of Nanjing University, gave the first lecture on How to Improve Team Cohesion and Execution.
