To present the construction achievements of the Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark in a comprehensive and meticulous manner, and to prepare for the revalidation by the UNESCO Global Geopark Council, the Xi’an Forestry Bureau convened task decomposition and coordination meeting on June 19, 2025.
At the coordination meeting, the responsible official from the Qinling-Zhongnanshan Global Geopark Management Center provided an update on the progress of preparatory work and explained the performance revalidation task breakdown table. Then, the leadership of Xi’an Forestry Bureau emphasized three key requirements: First, local governments: Prioritize and deploy international expert revalidation tasks within their jurisdictions, maintain work rhythm, clarify responsibilities, and ensure orderly preparation for inspections. Second, departments: Implement tasks outlined in the revalidation plan, designate dedicated personnel, strengthen coordination, and ensure effective execution. Third, Relevant Entities: Enhance environmental ambiance, conduct pre-inspection route drills, refine inspection procedures, and guarantee seamless coordination during the revalidation period.
After thorough discussions and communications, various districts, counties, and departments have pledged to conduct thorough research, meticulous preparation, swift action, and comprehensive deployment to ensure the successful completion of all tasks related to the revalidation.
