Recently, professional international communication institutions such as the Asia-Pacific Communication Center of China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration (including People’s China and China Report magazines) and the Americas Communication Center of China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration (including Beijing Review), adhering to the principle of “global perspective, Chinese stance, and Qinling characteristics,” have published an article titled Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark: From Orogenic Heritage to Human Touch through three authoritative external communication journals—China Report (in Chinese), Today’s China (in Spanish), and Beijing Review (in English). The article was also disseminated across five external communication websites, including China Report Chinese Language Website, China Report Esperanto Website, Beijing Review Chinese and English Websites, and Today’s China Spanish Website, as well as two new media platforms such as China Report Toutiao Account and China Report Learning Strong Nation Account, and two overseas social media accounts on X and Facebook. The content was simultaneously published in three languages: Chinese, English, and Spanish, to popularize geological science knowledge among international audiences, promote the concept of geological heritage protection, and highlight the natural and cultural endowments of Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark.
This promotional report revolves around six themes - “Geological Creation” , “Ecological Barrier”, “Civilization Vein”, “Science Popularization Hall”, “Symbiotic Development”, and “International Dialogue”—to provide a comprehensive interpretation of the geopark’s geological wonders, ecological value, cultural heritage, and sustainable development practices. It aims to help the international community gain an in-depth understanding of the unique charm and developmental achievements of Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark. By conveying the practices of Shaanxi in implementing China’s ecological civilization philosophy to the world, the report has effectively enhanced the geopark’s international reputation and injected long-term momentum for the Greater Qinling Mountains to transition from “China’s Central Mountain Range” to a “globally shared ecological and civilizational treasure”.
