European Geoparks 14th Conference is held in 7th-9th Septemper 2017 in Ponta Delgada, Azores, Portugal. Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark attended the conference based on invitation of Joao Carlos Nunes, and deputy director of Xi’an Bureau of Land and Resources Wang Jiandong as head of the delegation.
The communication is held between Nickolas Zouros and the delegation, besides, the delegation exchanged experience on education in public and research in travel with sister-geopark of Rokua Geopark and Psiloritis Natural Geopark, Iran Qeshem Island UNESCO Geopark and Brazil Araripe UNESCO Global Geopark. Discussed with Italy Alpi Apuani UNESCO Global Geopark on sister-geopark, and did investigation in Ponta Delgada UNESCO Global Geopark either. All of these are helpful to improve influence of Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark.
