The 5th APGN Conference is held in Zhijindong UNESCO Global Geopark whose theme is ENESCO Global Geopark improve local economy, and there are more than 900 represents from 27 countries attending the conference. Deputy leader of Xi’an Bureau of Land and Resources, Zhang Wei with other staff of Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark attended the conferecne. This is the first international conference after UNESCO approved Internatinal Earth Science and Global Geopark Plan.
The delegation communicated with UNESCO official and experts from Ministry of Land and Resources, did oral speech and playbill, and gave out geopark publicity to improve the geoaprk influence in the conference time.
5 subject reports and 6 special reports are held in the conference time to discuss some research project such as impoving local economy sustainable development from Global Geopark, promoting education in public, promoting the candidate Global Geopark construction, developing karst landform GGN and strengthening area cooperation to improve Asian-Pacific region UNESCO Global Geopark development.
