Chinese Global Geopark Annual Conference of 2017 has been hold in Fuding City, Fujian Provence from 14th to 15th, Nov. More than 30 Chinese Global Geoparks and 200 presents and leaders attended the conference, sharing experience. He Qinsheng, deputy leader of CAGS and director of CGN, presided over the conference.
Guan Fengjun, leader of Ministry of land and Resources of the PRC’s Department of Geological Environment, gave a report about geopark from the twelfth 5 years plan and point out the challenge and solution of geopark on sustainable development in the conference. Then, leaser Liu Yuanzuo who is from Ministry of land and Resources of the PRC’s Department of Geological Environment gave a summary of the last year and a wish of the next year. Some government leaders of Fujian Province gave speech too, for example, He Nanfei, deputy leader of Fujian Province Department of Land and Resources. At last, new GGN committees have been announced and next annual conference of Chinese Global Geopark will be hold in Yandangshan Global Geopark.
Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark attended all conference and did the experience exchange with other geoparks, and the NGN gave a high value on this revalidation of Qinling Zhongnanshan Global Geopark. Then, the geopark group joined in the field guide team of visiting Ningde Global Geopark.
