On June 16, the North Face 100 Qinling International Cross-country Race Challenge (2019TNF100 Qinling) kicked off in Cuihuashan Scenic Area of Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark. 2019TNF100 Qinling was hosted by Chinese Athletics Association, Xi’an Sports Bureau, People’s Government of Changan District and Huipao Company. It was undertaken by Culture, Travel and Sports Bureau of Changan District, Xi’an Qujiang Marathon Sports Development Compnay and Xi’an Tourism Group, and supported by Cuihuashan Scenic Area of Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark.
The end of the race was the Museum of Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark. 1,500 competitors nationwide participated in the 50km, 25km and 10km items. 10km was a new item, and the time limit for the whole race was four hours. After fierce competition, six competitors won the three items. Mr. Ma Rui, director of Xi’an Sports Bureau and Mrs. Liu Hongmei, deputy general manager of Xi’an Tourism Group awarded prizes to the winners.
Innovation and integration of “geology+tourism+sports+catering+motor industry”enjoys its best opportunity now. By cooperating, sharing resources and complementing each other’s advantages, Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark and Xi’an Tourism Group provided the best service for 2019TNF100 Qinling. It also showed the attraction of Cuihuashan Scenic Area which has the best landslide view in the world and branded the geopark with a new card of providing best tourism experience.
