Investigation from the Forestry Department of Shaanxi Municipal Government works in the geopark on July 24th. The investigation mainly relates to the geopark management system, operating situation, the construction of key projects and so on.
Dang Shuangren, the director of the Forestry Department of Shaanxi Municipal Government, says that the issued opinion "Guiding Opinions on Establishing a Natural Protected Area System with National Parks as the Main Body" is the top-level guidance for establishment and development of all natural reserves. It defines the functional positioning and management system of natural reserves. As part of that system, the Qinling Zhonganshan UGGp should explore and develop an ecological economic system with geological, cultural and ecological tourism product.
