Panda Guesthouse in Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark is awarded Top 10 Most Beautiful Guesthouses in the 2n Xi’an Peasant Festival held by Xi’an Culture and Tourism Bureau.
Panda Guesthouse was funded by the project of World Wild Fund for Nature aiming at ecology protection and forest tourism service. The construction concept is to be near to nature and enjoy privacy at the same time. Panda Guesthouse has 16 independent buildings to provide accommodation for about 78 guests. The walls of the guesthouse are mud walls and the roofs are thatch roofs. Each building is equipped with modern facilities such as auxiliary heating, electric water heater, wooden floors and bamboo restrooms etc.. Buildings are separated by bamboo forests or wooden fences and connected by nature-friendly footpaths. Sightseeing platforms outside buildings let guests come close to nature, integrate into nature and return to nature. Panda Guesthouse attracts tourists from all over the world and is the most popular guesthouse in Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark.
