The preliminary review meeting for the completion of science popularization station of Heihe scenic area was held on July 5, 2019 by Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark Management Office. Prof. Guo Anlin from Northwest University, Prof. Guo Wei from Changan University, Mr. Qinjian from Xi’an Development and Reform Commission, Mrs. Jia Xiaojing from Xi’an Finance Bureau and Director Cai Xiaolu from Heihe scenic area were invited to review the project.
Director Yang Jianping of Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark introduced the 2016 protection and facility utilization project to the review group. Then the representative on behalf of the construction company introduced the project details through PPT and project report. The review group gave pass to the project, and at the same time, they offered some suggestions to better the project. Director Yangjianping expressed that the global geopark will do follow-up work in a higher standards as the review group required.
By now, Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark has built the museum of Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark, the museum of the Zhuque scenic area and the science popularization station of Heihe scenic area to educate tourists in a vivid way. The Geopark will continue to apply the team spirit to build better geopark infrastructure and provide higher quality geology popularization service to show the unique geological charm of Qinling Zhongnanshan.
