On 12th March, a delegation of 13 people from Wuhan visited Cuihuashan scenic area of Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark and exchanged ideas on the protection of geological relics and geopark construction etc. The delegation included Mr. Gao Liang vice director of city environment committee of Standing Committee of Wuhan People's Congress, Mr. Liu Qizhi deputy director general of Wuhan Natural Resources and Planning Bureau, and professor Huan Jie from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) etc.
When visiting the geopark museum, the delegation highly praised the achievements of Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark and expressed their wish to further communication and exchanges on geopark master plan, geopark management regulations and the construction of geopark science popularization system.
Institute of Surveying and Mapping of Xi’an Natural Resources and Planning Bureau took part in the visit.
