Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark Management Office organized the review meetings on Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark signage system construction project and Zhuque museum construction completion acceptance projcet. Expert panel reached consensus on passing the two projects. For the signage system, experts suggested that the signage should highlight the landslide geology features and the number of signboards should be increased to expand publicity. For Zhuque museum, experts suggested that the science popularization knowledge for middle and primary school pupils should be deepened and the science popularization film should be expanded with interesting shows of animals, plants and geological section etc.
The attendees included Mr. Qu Maowen, researcher from Changan University, Professor Wang Jiading from Northwest University, Associate Professor Feng Qiang from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Mr. Qin Jian, researcher from Social Division of Xi’an Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Mr. Zhao Hui, Deputy General Manager for Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark Tourism Development Company, and Mr. Yao Jiangpeng, Deputy General Manager for Zhuque Scenic Area in Qinling Zhongnanshan UNESCO Global Geopark. Mr. Wang Yanlin, division chief of Geological Environment Monitoring Division of Department of Land and Resources of Shaanxi Province, Mr. Wen Xu, officer from Department of Land and Resources of Shaanxi Province in charge of geopark affairs and Ms. Jia Xiaojing, researcher of Economic Construction Division of Xi’an Financial Department were invited to attend the two meetings as well.
